When a guest asked for an Ango Fizz, Sandy Levine wanted to put a spin on it – with a wonderfully delicious and smooth result! Behold: the Likely Doubtful.

Likely Doubtful Angostura Bitters

Likely Doubtful


  • 1 1/2 oz Angostura® Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 oz Batavia Arrack, Van Oosten
  • 1/4 oz Pierre Ferrand
  • Dry Curaçao
  • 1 Egg White
  • Splash Seltzer Water


  1. Combine all ingredients in a dry shaker and shake.
  2. Add crushed ice and shake again, strain into collins glass.
  3. Top with seltzer.
