What could be better than a weekend (well, two weekends) enjoying the best the music industry has to offer along with an equally memorable lineup of House of ANGOSTURA-made cocktails? We’re glad you asked—absolutely nothing. Luckily for the Lone Star State, we’re giving an encore at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, where you can find us mixing throughout the weekend. Mixing cocktails, that is. We figure it might be best to leave the music to the professionals.
If you’re making your way to Zilker Park to join the festivities and have a VIP wristband, be sure to stop by our bar in the VIP Grove October 4-6 and 11-13 to get a break from the main stage while sipping on our signature cocktails! We’re not sure you’ll be able to resist tasting each one from the menu, especially since we’ve got an original creation for every vibe. Whether you’re looking to cool off with a Twin Island Spritz, transport yourself to Trinidad with an Amaro Colada or get your “yeehaw” on with a Zilker Iced Tea, our cocktails have got you covered. We’ll also have our Giphyyy Booth up and running, so you and your friends can capture the moment and make everyone else wish they were there with you.
Austin not on your itinerary this year? You’ll be missed, but that doesn’t mean you have to completely miss out. We’ll be posting live updates from the festival on our Instagram Stories @angosturahousethroughout weekends one and two. Twin Island Spritz
- 1 ¼ oz Gin
- ¾ oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 1 oz Sorrel Cordial
- ½ oz Lime Juice
- ½ oz Ginger Simple Syrup
- Topo Chico Soda Water
- 3 dashes ANGOSTURA®orange bitters
Pour all ingredients into ice-filled glass then gently stir. Garnish with orange slice and fresh mint sprig. Served in Balloon Wine Glass.
- 1 oz Amaro di ANGOSTURA®
- ½ oz Forres Park Puncheon
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 ½ oz Cream of Coconut
- 1 oz Lime Juice
Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake well until chilled. Pour shaker contents into a glass and fill with crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple wedge. Served in Snifter glass.
Zilker Iced Tea
- ½ oz Vodka
- ½ oz Gin
- ½ oz Tequila
- 1 oz White Cranberry Juice
- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- ½ oz Rich Simple Syrup (2-1)
- Topo Chico Grapefruit Sparkling Water
- 3 dashes ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters
Add all other ingredients except ANGOSTURA aromatic bitters to cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, pour over into highball glass, add splash of sparkling water then gently stir. Garnish with ANGOSTURA aromatic bitters and pink grapefruit juice sprinkled with a dusting of sea salt.
